3 groove polygonal rifling

Just ordered a 26" 223 barrel from BHW. I'm curious if the 3 groove polygonal rifling will have any difference on our 22lr jackets vs. traditional land and groove rifling. Delivery should be in 8-12 weeks so we shall see?


Anyone else shoot a polygonal rifling in a rifle cal?


Haven't ordered any barrels from BHW before so we shall see.... They had a 20% off sale running which makes for a pretty good price on a barrel for my Savage action.

Very accurate barrels. I think you will see an increase in your velocity from it.

I have looked at a lot of their AR barrels, we use the same black oxider in Portland.
They look dang good outside and even better inside, just have never shot one.

I have an BHW 18" 264 LBC "grendel". Very happy with it's accuracy although still tuning my handloads. Have some targets pics someplace....
