Not here. Gonna be 96° today and we got 72% humidity. I believe that even the birds are sweating.

It's been awfully humid here this year, more than I ever remember. Here at home I do my work at daylight or have a 48" fan follow me around the yard.
Several years ago I removed a ceiling mount ac unit with outside condenser unit from an I/T room in an office building. I installed it in my garage and it has been a godsend this year.

We have the same down here. It was so hot today. I saw a dog chasing a cat - they were both walking.

94 here today. Humidity was 17 %. Our humidity is usually low. It makes a swamp cooler(evaporative cooler) work real well. Knocks about 20 degrees off the top.

Not a good idea here in TX, 102 today and tomorrow. If anyone goes upstairs in the warehouse after 2P they have to tie a rope around their waist so we can pull them back down. ;-)

I'm considering putting myself on the night shift so I can get something done. I have my powder coating shop in an old chicken house. 30 x 86 feet with no windows and a high tin roof. It's been over a hundred in there every day for a week. Around 9:00 in the evening it starts to get comfortable enough to work on my truck or do some powder coating.

I know I'm less tolerant of the heat, but it's been too darn hot here all Summer. The Spring started hot and wet. The temp has been 5-10 degrees above normal all Summer. Smelting or casting have sure been uncomfortable.

Heat index's have been well over a 100,dew points high,as well as the humidity. All this brings in storms.But...I mowed the lawn yesterday and didn't even break a sweat!

Humidity? What's that? Just kidding; the humidity reaches over 50% here during July-August, our 'monsoon' season. We get an average of 3 inches of rain a year here! In fact, it rained last night - just enough to leave spots all over the car!

We've had a couple sprinkles and twice it ran on the pavement, but only one real rain since mid June. Not at all what we're accustomed to. Weather lady says we are over 5" shy of normal.
Last time it was this dry, I had to drill 625 ft to get a good supply for my Son. That was to replace a dry 40 ft hole. That new well dried up both neighbors 200 ft wells, and then the county ran a line right past the house. The County waved the connect fee, and now everyone has plenty, but my well water is free. I have the greenest grass and tallest corn around.

This hot summer is nuts.
We have had a lot of days to many over a hundred here in central Washington.
Today was 105 here. No humidity thou.
The hottest I have seen in a very long time here was a few weeks back on a road trip threw Washington wheat country and it was 116 before we came up on the snake river.
That is pretty stinking hot for around here!!!

Read online yesterday that Irag? had a heat index over 160 degrees.
Been hot and humid here in Phoenix this year as well. A nighttime temperature under 90 degrees is a sometime thing.

Not supposed to be above mid 90's today. That's good because my riding mower needed an hour and a half's worth of maintenance before I could even start mowing. I don't do well in the heat so will only mow another hour then quit to lay low until after 5 or so. Mebbe I'll get a little casting done, we'll see.

I went outside yesterday. In the afternoon it was rainy and keeping the shop cooler so I plugged in the pot and cast up a bunch of nice shiny 358-150 round nose boolits and some 358 wad cutters from some dirty old scrap with the mold I got off ebay that came while we were in Michigan. My wife asked me later, what I was up to and I told her I was casting and she said, " That's alright." Now I wonder what she was up to while I was outside.

I went outside today, every direction I looked, saw smoke from wildfires. Yup, California is burning.....
Current temp is 80, and supposed to get to 90 degrees. Remind me what rain is....
