Just getting ready to start casting. In fact, Natchez is delivering my Lee furnace and Lyman 4500 on Monday.

In the meantime, I bought an old Lachmiller 2 cavity 454 255 LC mold and need handles for it. The slots are .25". My RCBS handles for my RCBS 2 cavity 38-150 mold don't fit and was wondering if somebody with Lyman or Lee handles for their 4 or six cavity molds could tell me if the jaws on their handles are .25".

I saw some older posts from 2005 and 2006 that seem to indicate the Lee 6 cavity mold handles might be .25" but want to confirm that. Also, if that is the case, is there anything I should be aware of (other than maybe having to drill new holes)?

Thanks.

My Lachmiller handles measure .240"
My RCBS sets measure .265:
Lyman, Lee Saeco seem be be measuring around .310"

Lyman 4-cavity handles are about .250.

The other thing is that different brands of moulds use different size mounting screws. You might have to drill another set of holes.

I have two lachmiller molds a 4 cavity that lyman 4 cavity handles will work on and a two that i had to mill down and redrill a set of ballisticast handles to fit it. The grove they use is smaller then any other mold or mold handle that ive come across
