Dano67 and I were called to a pickup/dump truck fatal accident today. Took me a minute to put the town the deceased was from, his truck and the Gatling gun in the back together. Brshooter was killed instantly in the head on collision.

Thanks guys. We know his next door neighbor/good friend, another Trooper. I'll make sure a card from "Us" gets to the family along with the boards condolences.

Wow, prayers sent for his family, there certainly couldn't have been many folks driving in your area with a GG.

He checked in here this morning as I imagine was his usual manner. May he have a pristine GG and a everlasting supply of ammo with a sunny seat at the range in Heaven. Rest in peace.

I didn't know the gentleman but I'll kick in $5 so we can send them a wreath. Or a donation if that is more needed.

A St. Lawrence County man died Friday morning after his pickup collided head-on with a dump truck.

State police said 63 year old Jon Frary of 48 Ogden Street in Waddington was killed in the crash on State Route 37 in the town of Lisbon shortly before 11:30 a.m.

Police said Frary’s vehicle crossed into the path of a dump truck driven by 48 year old Terry Smith of 5130 County Route 6 in Ogdensburg.

Frary was pronounced dead at the scene.

Smith was treated at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center for chest pains.

The cause of Frary’s death was pending an autopsy.

Our balance sheet should easily cover a arrangement, Bret will make sure his family and friends are aware of our concern.

I created a new area for threads such as this, I never imagined the need for one previously however the tally of our family here grows and so our forum will honor those that are at heavens range.
May he rest in peace.

Damn, this sucks and strikes way too close to home. And how freakish is it that one ( or two ) of our board members must respond to an accident involving another board member????? Count me in on the memorial/wreath from the board. My condolences to the family.

And as an aside, thank you to Bret and Dano67 from a fellow NYS resident for the job you do day in and out and how many times that job must be nearly impossible to bear. Stay strong and thank you.

Jon and I shared many an e-mail together before and since I deployed. I am saddened to hear about his death. I will have my wife send a card for me from Watertown.

He was so happy the day he got his Gatling Gun. He had been waiting a long time for it to be built and I was looking forward to seeing it and talking to him again when I got back.

I haven't been in the forum long, but I have been impressed with the honest caring and helpfulness I see daily from the members. It is unfortunate that we must all end one day, but if we leave this earth having contributed to someone else's life, I'd say we have done well. Jon has done so. God be with Jon's family and friends.

We are truly diminished, I find solice in the fact that one common bond can make us all family.

I cannot shoot as fast a a gatling, but I will empty one full 1911 magazine just as fast as I can while carrying prayers for Mr. Frary and his family/friends first light this morning.

Wow.
Brshooter and I traded a few PMs and I bought a chronograph from him last month. Seemed like a heckuva nice guy.
Best wishes to those who knew him better than I did.
