Sold this one 15 plus years ago to a friend and had regretted it ever since. I finally found the right carrot to dangle in front of him to get it back. S&W hammerless safety and $100 got him to cave. Ruger Blackhawk with a target of the 1st cylinder of shots. Aimed for the center and hit two high, then I remembered it liked the whole bulls eye showing...only 10 yards. I have secured a trigger job with the help of a fellow forum member and hope to do quite well at 25 yards and beyond. 158 gr cast boolits on top of red dot. Got some 180 gr a friend gave me to try too.

The stag grips are worth more than the $100 you had to throw in. Glad you got it back. Ruger triggers are super easy. I'd recommend you not go to any lighter than a factory mainspring though.

A buddy has his Dad's .44 SBH with Stag grips. I can't think of anything that looks any better that I hate shooting any more.
There's one groove that bites the end of my pinky every time if I don't watch it. But good grief they are pretty.
BTW, it will stack holes when I can keep my pinky out of the way.
