Prayer needed for me please

I am having surgery on Monday morning to have a Dilaudid pump inserted into my body which release medication to my spine on a set time frame, I am hoping this will relieve a great deal of my pain and allow me to do more than I do now which isn't much. I will then have another surgery to remove scar tissue from around the fusions in my back as to relieve the pressure on my nerves which are causing my legs to be numb. I fall probably 3-4 times a week or more due to my legs just going out from underneath me. This surgery is very iffy because there is a chance that it could make the condition worse than it is right now, and I can hardly walk with my walker now. I am waiting and have been waiting for my power chair for sometime now and hope it arrives soon. Please just pray that the outcome is successful and positive and that the surgeon's hands are guided by Almighty God. Thank you to everyone, you all are the best group of people in the world! I thank God for all of you.

Prayers sent...my brother had one implanted for 14 years, one of the first non terminal patients to get a "morphine pump" it was for his back that had been broken 3 times. Start taking as much calcium as you can...talk to your doctors about it. One of the bad side effects of long term opiates(even artificial ones) is it leaches calcium from your system. Joints and teeth suffered terribly before they discovered this. It did give my brother relief from back/leg pain.

Deputy, that is a incredible thing that you allowed like minded forum folks to know to pray for you, as many guys would not. Prayers for you buddy that all goes well and you find relief and strength. Falling down that many times can be a scary thing.
