I'm practically a neophyte when it comes to Hollywood presses but it seems to me that they could be categorized by 4 distinct designs.

The Senior - I'll call this their original design and come in different sizes.
The Junior - A smaller, less expensive single stage press but different in design. It has a central post and base similar to the Star.
The Universal - A design acquired by the Universal Loading Tool Company and later improved/modified by Hollywood with fixed and turret type die/shell holder platforms.
The Automatics - A radical departure from all of the above with nothing shared with any of the earlier designs.

Would it be fair to say that Hollywood can only be given credit for the Senior design? If so, where did Hollywood receive the inspiration or acquire the design for the Automatics?
