I finally located a place that will gun my ingots so ha I know what I've got. I smelted in different lots and stamped them (as recommended here in another thread).
Organ pipe that I stared a thread about was 90.5Pb - 6.56Sn - 2.3Sb
Old (20-30 years) COWW's 97Pb - 2.37Sb
Ingots from local reloading store marked "#2" (didn't say Lyman #2) 96.5Pb - 2.93Sn Was minute Cu but, no Sb
I did have some pure lead sheeting that was 99.86Pb
The odd thing about where I got the ingots gunned was that the would not sell lead of an kind to the public. But, they were nice enough to shoot mine and welcomed me back if I had more (is a bit of a long drive though).
Fortunately, a small scrap yard near me sells me pewter same as lead at $1/lb. Good while I keep an eye out for opportunities.
