Finally, I took my .32/20 Whitney rolling block to work with me Sunday.
I have the Leatherwood Malcolm scope mounted properly & a basic zero set.
I am not allowed to use my own firearms while on duty SO - - - -
Some of my black powder shootin friends helped out. Two five round groups.
The lower / larger group was before swabbing out the barrel. The upper group
measured .31" C~C. Fired from a rest @ 50 yards. 120 grain RNFP cast bullet from Missouri
bullet co. with their epoxy coating and Lee Tumble lube, 10.6 gr of 777 ( 0.9cc) & Winchester SRP.
This is one sweet shooting rifle, mild report, almost no recoil and nice accuracy.
I almost had to resort to bribery to get the rifle back from my friends, they liked it so much.
My thanks to Robert Hoyt for an excellent job relining the barrel for me and to all my friends that
encouraged me with this project.
