I did away with 10mm at my house a couple years ago. A change in ground rules for retired personnel CCW disqualified the caliber for me. The intro of the P-220 might alter that status, though--esp. a variant with adjustable sights for the hunting fields.

Having only seen photos of the P-220 x 10mm, those photos show the 10mm variant to have a roll-pinned slide like the P-220 x 45 ACP and older P-226 x 9mm. When SIG intro'ed the P-226 in 40 S&W and 357 SIG, they discovered a need to alter the slide design to a one-piece forging to adequately absorb the boltface backthrust of these high-pressure rounds of greater diameter. Does your 10mm example have the roll-pinned bolt within the folded slide like the 45--or a forged one-piece slide unit?
