I have a Martini Carbine in .303 in which I have shot .314" 180 gr. Loverin design with fair groups, so the next step was to use a NOE 316299. I got excellent accuracy with it but the drop of the bullet forced me to set the rear sight to it's highest position in to get POA @ 25 yds. I saw a 155 gr .316 on the NOE site, but I was wondering if anybody out there has something in .316 diameter in the neighborhood of 150 gr or so that I could try out before I actually buy the mold. PM me if you'd be willing to provide me a few to test with. I'd pay the postage and cost of the boolits.

Thanks

What's the groove diameter of your rifle?

I slugged it and came up .314". That's an approximation as it has an odd number of grooves... But it likes the .316, so that's what I'll stick with. I think the 316299 runs about 220 gr. so if I get less drop with lighter bullet I can get it shooting POA without having to move the slider to the max range.

What sort of load are you shooting? Point of impact can be adjusted with velocity changes in some cases. You might already have the mould you need.

Not going to push the 316299 any faster than I already am...
