Picked up some misc parts this week and came across a sight I'm not really sure on, any help would be appreciated! would like to know what this came off of if possible and who made it? it goes to a round receiver and by the way its set up I want to say a .22 target rifle but it seems heavier than what would be on a .22. Part of me wants to mount it on my Savage axis in 30/06 (if the geometry/overhang is right) simply because I like irons on everything. 144238 144239

Judging the short distance from the inside of the sight base, for a round receiver, to the peep aperture's C/L, I'd say you're correct - it's fits a .22RF.
The reach of the aperture-holding bar looks way too short to make the bore C/L of a CF rounded receiver.
