Good day to you all members. I did get permission to upload a link regarding a 1800 era re-enactment hunt done by a few like minded/history inclined hunters here in South Africa. This will be an annual event every coming year....

We want to get this type of hunt to as near as original as possible in the future...enjoy the story it was an incredible experience for me a a novice black powder rifle hunter....

That was a great read. I want one of those Tonteldoos, but I imagine the shipping from RSA may be a bit steep.

Read and saw it all last evening and will do again tomorrow. Well worth the time. Hunting with flinters is one fine way to enjoy the time in the bush.

Very interesting it looks like paid alot of atention to detail I bet it was alot of fun. Iwould love to do smothing like that!
