Anyone ever fit a breech block spring in a Remington #6 ?
I bought a replacement spring from Numrich and broke that in 5 minutes.
I've made flat springs successfully so I used it as a pattern to make one of my own.
The spring has a lot of curve in it to push the breech block backwards as well as up.
The length and the arch is apparently critical or it just doesn't work.
I think I'm close but my wife told me its happy hour so I put it to bed.
Comments anyone?
