Got a few of these ingots yesterday. Stamped "virgin", a search was a waste of data. It is soft, lead i think. But maybe something else
Has any one know about them?

Looks like old plumber's lead. Normally in a chain as said. Used in the olden days to fill joints in pipes, NOT solder.

Thanks, it was linked and in broken pieces. Was mixed in with some divers weights.

A mold that leaves "Virgin" or "LME" on the ingot indicates it is pure lead, not re-melted or recovered.
Of course, that assumes that someone didn't get ahold of some old molds to use for their own purposes.
