Someone I know has about 200 lbs of 1-20 alloy that he says has some antimony in it and he won't use it for BPCR. He offered it to me for $2/lb. Decent buy or too high?

Well, concidering you can buy it off ebay cheaper than that, I'd say its too high. But then again. I'm a chaep $%#@, LOL

Antimony comes in Wheel Weights. WW's mixed with pure Pb gets the alloy to 1:20.
So basically, you'd be buying WW's with some pure lead ... I wouldn't open my wallet at that price

I agree $1/lb is pretty good - it's the going price for ingoted WW on evil-bay.

BTW, I thought 20-1 is 20 parts lead to 1 part tin? Am I right or Amarillo?

60 parts WW + 40 parts Lead = Bhn 10.4 (20:1 Pb and Sn = Bhn 10)
The melt will be:
Pb - 98.05%
Sn - 0.15%
Sb - 1.8%
