View Full Version : Lyman universal lube heater dimensions

Hello all i am building a stand for my lube sizer its an rcbs lam 2.Nothing fancy but i want to make the top of the stand the size of the lyman universal lube heater.As of now i do not use heat but someday i may want to add one.If anyone knows the dimensions or can measure one that would be great.Thanks Bob

The aluminum square on mine is 4½" by 4½". Mounting bolts are ~2" on center, two inches in from the front edge.
Mine came with a 450 mounted to it, but I believe the RCBS Lubamatic will mount with the same holes. I haven't tried it, my LAM is filled with FWFL and I don't need heat to get it to flow.

I have the same heater bolted to a LAM2, no worries.

Lady at lyman said be carefull when drilling holes for 45. Can u put a temp regulator on it or do u need it?

Thanks everyone. I have a lyman catalog but it does not have dimensions of the product. It says witch machines it is tapped for.Thanks a bunch Bob

It's prob not hard, look at pic in post 5 will help a lil' and keep cord to the right centered.
Maybe someone will put up photo of theirs.
