Ideal Bullet mold

I have an Ideal bullet mold single cavity # 456 122. It is a hollow point but the piece that goes in the bottom to make the hollow point is missing. Is there any place to get the piece or do I have to find someone to make one?? Thanks

I'd send it to Buckshot here on the forum, he's really reasonable. I have seen the pins alone go on E-bay for way too much money, so you would likely be money ahead to have one made.

Contact Lyman, I believe they will sell the hollow point pins separately, but I don't know if they will have one to fit your old Ideal mold (Lyman bought Ideal back in the 1920's? but still used the Ideal brand name until the 1950's IIRC)
