Went to a local garage sale. Wow, lots of reloading stuff. I only had $119 on me but came out with an almost new Rock Chucker, 6 lbs of rifle powder, brick of SPP's. A couple of full boxes of J words, some new and old brass and a couple of ammo cans to haul it home in. Probably good that I had no more cash on me because he had a LOT offered for sale. Had to mount the Chucker as soon as I got home, just could not wait.

WOW!!!! That had to be an EX Wife selling that stuff. Rule#1 if your getting thrown to the curb. Make sure the Guns and reloading stuff go in the truck 1st. Heck with the clothes, can hit a Goodwill if you have to, But the Rock Chuckers coming with me!!

I did find a bit today on my sale sluthing. Moving sale, I found a pound of RedDot and some 800X. Also snagged a couple magnetic oil pan heaters for 2 bucks each. They make good heaters for lube sizer.

The wife and I go to 200-300 garage sales a year. Find all sorts of treasures, reloading stuff, and strange knick knacks. Estate sales are usually more pricy around here, so we stick to the garage sales. You did good on that Rock Chucker and all those extras for that price. Garage sales rock!

Hi...

Great yard sale score!

We never see that kind of stuff at yard sales here in Pa. Way too many hunters and shooters, I guess. anyone with anything like that to sell always knows somebody who will be more than happy to take it off their hands, I guess.

I did see an old RockChucker at a yard sale once...it looked like it had been used as a boat anchor or hammer or something. Rough.

I do see an occasional shotgun or rifle listed in the newspaper ads for yard sales.

I make a few sales but hardly ever find any reloading stuff, sometime a few Precision Starrett tools.

I could give up beer for a while (a little while) to get deals like these. I'm just wondering how long it takes to drive from VA to OR!! ;)

Good find at the garage sale. I used to stop at them and found some real good deals, but no walking is an issue for me. I wonder If Brass Magnet has the same 6th sense for garage sales with reloading equipment he has for the swapping and selling section here?

I half expected Brassmagnet to be there ahead of me.

Brass Magnet has saved me a fortune in both funds and bench space. Probably didn't miss anything I really needed, but still......
