Friends;
Monty Gaudet (Correct spelling)is an outdoorsman, if not a bullet caster, here are his circumstances, briefly;
Monty is a local resident, originating in LA, following employment here, and just months ago was a strong, working vibrant example of American manhood. Incidentally, he is the father of a disabled veteran of the Iraq war.
He has encountered some health issues and without going into detail, after numberless consultations, treatments, hospitalizations and surgeries, today he is a shallow husk of his former self. Approaching retirement age, he consulted Social Security and followed their advice. Meanwhile his employment was terminated, necessitating that he apply for Social Security Disability Benefits. Coincidentally, ill and unemployed, he withdrew money from his retirement fund.
To be blunt, now the IRS wants about half of the retirement money, and Social Security has ruled.
Their ruling adds insult to injury in that, according to them, the Godets have been overpaid some $6000 and will receive nothing until this "overpayment" is recovered, probably in October.
Monty is a believer, and God is great. Please pray that God will be glorified in these circumstances, and that Monty and his wife will find strength and peace in their faith.
