I have a Patton U2-20P floor fan.
I screwed up.
Took the fan apart to clean and paint it.
I thought I marked all the wires, but forgot to mark the wires from the power cord.
Getting old.
The motor has 6 wires paired in twos.
Red, Blue.
Yellow, Orange.
Black, White.
Tag on the motor has:
Com-White
Hi-Black
Me-Blue
Lo-Red
Cap-Yellow & Orang
The way I have it wired so far is:
Cap- Yellow and Orange
Three speed switch is:
Splice-White
#1- Black
#2- Blue
#3- Red
"L"-?
Opposite of Splice- ?
I'm trying to find out where the White and Black from the power cord go.

White line from power cord should bug to white on motor,
Black wire (hot line) from power cord should go to the switch.
We will see what others think

If you are asking about "L" that usually means line which is the black wire. labradigger1 is pretty much on with the white.
