i just picked up a 357 conversion for my LAR Grizzly MK1, well actually i do not have it yet. but, the conversions come with a barrel, mag, barrel bushing, ejector and extractor.
is it necessary to switch out the ejector?

Groo here
I have the same.
The Grizzly is built to be convert able.
You can try the 357 with the 45win mag ejector , if it works ,ok.
They are easy to change though.

The 357 ejector is longer, apparently to start the empty on it's way a little earlier.
Like Groo said, try it if you want and they are easy to change out.
I didn't see a slide lock in your list. The Grizzly may not lock it's slide open reliably on an empty mag with the 45 WM slide lock when shooting with the 357 Mag conversion.

You'll enjoy it. The Grizzly will tame the 357 Mag substantially while getting the most from it's performance potential.
I had an interest in the 357/45 WM wildcat for awhile. After long enough time had passed I basically just forgot about it... I haven't seen those conversions recently.

That sounds interesting. I didn't know they had a 357 conversion for them. Where did you find it? What's the average price, that kind of thing.

i paid $450 for it. looks to be in great shape from the pictures. it is in my po box right now, have to go to town and pick it up. magazines go for about $125 to $150

they made conversions in 10mm, 357, 357/45wm, 45acp, and maybe some others. i think i saw a conversion in 9mm winchester magnum at one point. seller claimed it was the only one in existence.

my grizzly is a 6.5" with a comp barrel bushing. very accurate, very reliable. 45 win mag throws a pretty good sized bullet pretty fast. i need a good cast bullet for hunting, something with a large meplat in the 240 to 260gr range.
