So why does this matter? No particular reason...

1/2" total rise of "V", .050 per revolution. Dial graduated in increments of .001".

Doing math without alcohol... 1/.050 is 20. 20 TPI

Hmm, TTC used a little different machining method for the turn-wheel slot.

Interesting, never thought of or had any need for an adjustable v-block but, it could prove handy some day.

works very well when using a dividing head or rotab on a part that does not have a center hole or has a very large center hole.

Also handy when setting up a tapered part or parts with multiple dias in vee blocks.
