I found a 1st edition of "The Accurate Rifle" by Warren Page. Is there any value to this? Is it a good read?

It gives a great account of the early days of bench rest shooting. Lots of history about early rifles, how they reloaded, lots of well known names.

I guess it would be good if you could learn from what has been done. It will still work.

our range used to host the Crawfish invitational down here in Louisiana. Got to personally meet a lot of the guys who were in benchrest at the time. Frank

If you want a great read from one who was there and knew many of the old timers find "YOURS TRULY HARVEY DONALDSON".

Harvey was there shooting from around 189? till his death around 1968 or so.

It has been out of print but worth tracking down.
