Two questions: Is there zoning in Tacoma?
Whats wrong with the parents of the three kids with obvious problems?

Profound for the kids, under 5 or 6 years is when lead is the most toxic and can cause life long mental disabilities. Didn't sound like anything intentional, just a guy that didn't have a clue. Very sad.
Kinda bad for us too, we really don't need that kind of press. I smelt outside and I always thought I was a bit anal about cleaning up, after reading that . . . maybe not.

Tragic. And thought provoking.

It is really a tragedy for the children. I think this guy must have been dumping his smelting waste in the yard or being very casual with it.
I think it should be a sign for us smelters and casters to be careful with our processes.
