Is this stuff any good for adding to lead for casting bullets? Don't know when or where I got it.

the nickel is the part you need to look out for.
I'd add it to make about 1/2 to 3/4% [by weight] if nothing turns up in your search.
that should keep things in low enough percentages to not affect your boolits [or the casting] while providing the Tin you want from it.
