Yup. That would be me. That makes my Dad a Great-Great-Grandfather at 96. Well, he was 95 when he became one. Anyway, I've just spoken with him by phone, which was great. It's actually quite difficult phoning him due to his hearing and the long distance voice delay.

That is great. If at all possible get a picture of all five generation. It is a rare opportunity to get five generations. When my first great grandchild was born we had a picture taken of all five generation. I promise you will treasure it for ever. It will be three years this month that my father died. He did not get to see the other two great grand children nor the forth which is on the way.

Thank you all.

Well, I am halfway across the world from my family. I last saw my grand daughter when she was around five years old. I am still waiting for photo's. I think I'll have to nudge my daughter a bit. And he's a he.

I think I will be making a trip over fairly soon. I need to see my Dad before he passes.

Nice goin', 303Dude.

You've got me beat a dozen ways to Sunday. I'm still waiting for my second grandchild. My first is in his "terrible two's" period, but I wouldn't trade that little fella for a custom Kimber.

I'm still just beginning to realize how much more fun it is to be a grandfather than it was to be just a mere father. I keep asking my kids how come they weren't as much fun to play with as my grandson, "the Pickle," but I never get an answer that makes sense. All I know is, "Pickle" is the bestest buddy I ever had.

I can only assume that great grandkids are even better than grandkids, if that's possible. If it is possible, then I'm really jealous of ya, but I'll wish you a heart-felt "congratulations," anyway.

Happy trails and enjoy your many blessings,

-- Cary Gunn --

Congrats 303. I thought you were a lot younger. ;)

I have similar troubles speaking with my Dad via phone. Face to face is much better. We talk loudly, but that's fine.
