I've been thinking about a 41 mag lever action and since you can't hardly find a factory example, I was wondering if anyone had any info? Which models/manufacturers make for a good basis and who does the work? I've searched high and low and am unable to locate a smith online that advertises caliber conversions.

TIA

If you won't pay the princely price for a factory made one - I'd get a 44 mag and convert it as it's the same frame.

You're better off waiting on a Marlin to come across

JES might be able to rebore a Marlin 357 Magnum to 41.

Back a number of years ago, before Marlin re-introduced the 41 Mag, I sent a well used 44 Mag to Marlin and had it converted into a 41. Don't remember the cost, but it turned out nice. Plus mine is the straight grip style, which I happen to like.
