View Full Version : Replacement Belleville Washer for Lyman Mold

I know you can use a 6MM wave washer..... but what is the specification on the "belleville" washer that Lyman puts on current production molds to keep tension on the sprue plate? I hope to get a few locally without paying postage from Lyman.

Don't know the spec but Ace Hardware carries one that works. You can also file the ends of a common split lockwasher so it doesn't dig in. This actually works better than the bellville washer.

The washers arnt overly expensive at supply shops like graingers mc master carrs and such the issue is they come by the 100 pack. Enough to refurish most moulds in an entire county LOL
