have determined the groove at 356 now .002 over for bullet should order a 358 mold ,or larger mold and swag to 358 Thanks CJ

9mm? Normally .357 or .358 does work best, size to the largest that will chamber in your pistol. I size to .357 for our 9mm's.

35 rem need 358 ,do i cast 359 and swag to 358......slugged at 356

Is it a Marlin Microgroove barrel? If so they like a fat bullet. I size mine to .359. Regardless, try a few different sizes and see what works best. I've only slugged one barrel. I ended up trying different sizes anyway.

The term swaging is used when a smaller dia. slug is squeezed in a die to produce a larger dia. bullet. Sizing is the proper term when reducing a bullet dia.

A 35 Remmington with a .356 groove diameter? Was this checked with a micrometer or caliper?

Yes, just not a right measurement at all. All Marlins need fatter boolits even the latest "Ballard Junk" They reduced the number of lands and grooves but kept the .003" deep rifling. Makes the Micro Groove a better shooter.
That .002" over groove with many guns does not hold true but a Marlin might need even more.
