I was at it again, prowling the local shops for something to take home and play with and i found this completely unmarked powder measure. its cast iron and steel with a plastic drop tube that is removable. its missing the hopper but it came with the cap to the hopper and a mount.
i have no clue who it was made by, but hopefully someone else can identify it

Looks like maybe a Pacific or Redding.

Looks like a Redding to me. either is very old, or someone took the green paint off.

Looking at its shape and the brown color Im thinking an old herters. Had one silimarl to that made by herters years ago. It had a knob on one side that was a scroll to adjust powder charge. But same basic shape to body
It looks like a redding #3 by the handle. the o.d. of the missing powder tube should be 2 1/8" Hope this helps

im really thinking its a old Redding Master powder measure, made before redding converted to green. if it is a redding then hopefully i can fit a new production hopper on it and get it back into service.
im still not sure. the color originally made me think herters as well. i don't believe it was ever repainted.
Thanks for the measurements Rkm and welcome to Castboolits! ill check what size the holder is for the tube tomorrow, im really hoping its 2 1/8"
