Do you guys know if this bad boy will cycle and chamber in your marlins?
Thanks for the help,
David
Groo here
Usually lever guns are picky on oal.
Anything much over factory can cause problems unless mods are made.
I load to factory length on all my pistol shells that "may" be used in a lever gun.
No sorting that way.
There are many cast boolets ranging from 123gr to 340gr that fit the 1.6 in format.
Just find one .
Ps Look at Penn bullets for FA454 , they are shorter nose and heavy.

I received my 1894cb this weekend. The loaded round will make its way from the magazine and into the chamber but I wouldn't call it cycling smooth.
I may play around with some shorter cases to use to hunt with. Or I may take 0.020" off the carrier. Or I might just buy another mold that will cycle smoothly.

I was just on the NOE sight. I think I will see if he will make a four cavity in brass of the 45-270-SAA. I don't have a lot of time to cast these days so when I do cast I like a pile of bullets.
Thanks for your help.
