daughter needs prayers

Her appendix ruptured late Saturday night after a few days of what I thought was a flu, she went into surgery about an hour ago.

Thanks all we need it, the rupture was worse and happened longer ago than they thought it was so deteriorated they can't be sure they got it all. Some of it fell.down into the pelvic gertel and did some damage to a philopian tube and the bowel mpacted/ kinked she is tough as nails didn't complain until.Friday night of pain never passed out and Sunday morning she passed around her room from 1 am till dawn before she woke me up to go to hospital...she will be all.right there is no other outcome I can even consider.

Looks like she will be in childrens hospital 5- 10 days to monitor for sepsis and abscess...

Thank you one and all from the bottom and top of my heart!!!!!! Today; Friday will be the first time she has had solid food; gonna see what that does.to her tummy. Still running a fever still high white cell.count so there is still infection somewhere...... She has a stubborn streak and I don't know where she came by it, she's refused pain meds since Wensday; said the strong ones did things to her head and dreams and the weak ones hurt her stomach more.than any pain they relieved.... The nurse and doc asked me to tell her to take something; no luck she said its a 4 or 5 now it was a 10 and then a 9 for days I can handle a 4 dad the 4 is a dull ache at my incisions I can live with a dull ache and no.stomach ache and constipation from the meds. So she is old enough to decide what goes on in her body

She's been home for one week, we did some fishing and some yard sailing and some light garden work, her strength and good humor are coming back!!!!!!!!
