Has anyone here adapted an RCBS Little Dandy to work on a case activated powder die in place of a Uniflow?

I seem to have cornered the market on Litle Dandy's and rotors and would like to use one for pistol reloads on a progressive.

Can't answer your question, but since you have cornered the market, maybe you can answer one for me. :-)
Do you have a chart showing powders and charge sizes for the different hole sizes in the rotors? I have one in pristine condition with 3 rotors.

If you can't get a legible print off this scan, send me your address and I'll get you a better copy. LC

One other thing, when you break the plastic tube, Amazon had polycarbonate tubing exact size, just add a little epoxy on the inside to make up for the friction bumps that RBS put in the OEM parts. I suspect other brands can also be replaced in the same manner if OEM parts have dried up.

Mine was replaced after a call to RCBS, free, with free shipping. Good stuff.

If anything might be able to be adapted, it might be this. http://www.titanreloading.com/specialty-reloading-dies/universal-charging-die Mary B, educated me to it's existence recently on another thread. It won't be straightforward, just a starting point. RCBS has this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/660710/rcbs-little-dandy-powder-measure-rotor-knob?cm_vc=ProductFinding that could drilled and tapped to attach a lever arm.
A rectangular 'loop', of steel flat stock with a 7/8" hole in the small ends can hold the Lil' Dandy on top, and the charge die can hold the bottom of the loop captive between it and the press. The 'Z' bar might have to be remade to fit.

In reality, one would have to have the parts in hand to see how it works, to be sure.

I think it's do-able, with minimal effort if you have the tools and time.
