Ordered up a custom Dan Wesson Valor of the 2 tone variety! After a 14 week wait, I was welcomed by this beauty:

She performs as good as she looks....ran 160 thru it the day I got it. It likes my PC'd cast 200 gr SWC's pretty well.

Nice looking piece. Those groups should tighten up as you become familiar with her. Still not bad at all off hand. Nice shooting

I added the new DW 1 piece magwell and had it blended to the frame, black&grey vz ragnarok grips from the Silverback model, requested a dehorn of the thumb safety, flush cut and 30 degree reverse crown of the barrel, flush cut and recess slide stop, duty treat bushing and plug, blended overall look of these 2, "DW" etched on spring plug, "Custom" etched on the dust cover in the Valor font, ball cuts and carry cuts on the slide like the Valkyrie model.

I didn't ask for any kind of trigger work but it measures at 4.5 lbs with a crisp break, just like my 3 other DW's. The bushing on this pistol is so tight that I would say it rivals a Baer. It takes everything I have to turn it by hand and I ain't exactly a little fella. Bushing wrench is must, unless you enjoy sore fingers. I can't say that for my other 3 production pieces.

Put that beauty to work. Friend has a DW and is one of the few .45's I was able to get 1/2" at 50 yards with. Creedmore. But he never loaded the same boolits and load again so I can't do it again.
He has a rock head and every time he comes to shoot he has different loads for all his guns.
I asked what load he had and he didn't know.
Yeah, it was Dave that tried to loosen and tighten lug nuts with the bar against the hub. Did I tell you he is a Ford man?
Bang me but all of his Fords are out of service and all I get is phone calls asking what he should do. One gets no fuel but he doesn't know when the filter was changed or if there is a mechanical or electric pump.
The DW is a super gun and I envy you.

I am jealous of your gun and your shooting.
