I have one pound of this stuff and I doubt I will load it in shotgun. Any magnum handgun loads that use it? I have looked in my books and cant find a handgun or rifle load. I guess, if I can find a suitable handgun load, I can load some magnum 12 gauge with it.

Further research appears to be the same as HS6. Found some 9mm loads for it. Looks like I am good.

Great handgun powder. Are you close to Cincinnati? I'll buy it.

I am on the Indiana side of Louisville. I also found some 38 special loads for it, so I can use it. That would be a long drive for 1 lb. of powder.

You'll like it. Great powder. One of my best for 44SPL.

I use the NOE 434421 PB in a Ruger FlatTop. Weighs about 260gr in my alloy. The manuals show a top load of 8gr. Being a Ruger and not some older Colt or S&W I use a little more. Accuracy is outstanding. I actually got the max load from an article/test I read. The author's name escapes me as I suffer from CRS. The author used HS6 but it is the same as 540.

Great powder in 9mm, I found 6.2 gr with Lee 120 TC @1.055" to be good and accurate...my most used 9mm load until I used up the 12#'s that I had.
