I have been using Carnauba red in everything i load for my question is this would 2500 be better in my 9mm / 38 / 357
I need to order some more lube so was wondering if i should switch lube in one of my sizer's or just stick with the C/R
for everything
thanks

I have 4 Lyman 450 lube sizers. 2 are set up with BAC one with 2500+ and the last one is full of Speed green. For hand guns I can't tell any difference between any of the different lubes. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the BAC..............Terry

I've used both C Red and 2500+. For handguns, I prefer 2500+. If you have a good combination worked up with C Red, I bet it will work even better with 2500+. Only drawback to 2500+ is it's softer and stickier than C Red, so I dust my bullets with white mica before dumping them into storage boxes.

Another vote for BAC. It is my do-all handgun bullet lube.

I have 2 Lyman 450 lubers set up for my lube sizing work. The pistol sizer has 2500 lube in it for all my pistol bullet work from 9mm up to and ending with 45 LC boolets. The other sizer is for rifle boolets and has my blend of C. Red (1 stick) with BAC (2 sticks) melted in a pot then poured into the luber. This mix is less tacky than BAC alone and has driven HV boolets over the 2K mark with no signs of leading in a variety of different calibers.Robert

what is white mica ?

Powdered mica, also known as motor mica, white powder used as a dry lube, typically on case necks. Midway has it here: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2124290522/frankford-arsenal-fine-powdered-mica?cm_vc=ProductFinding

+1 on the 2500+ for everything (44mag, 357mag, 30-30 45/70, 500s&w, 45acp) all loaded from fluff to full house loads.

I use BAC for everything. Does 2500+ need heat to work?

No, 2500+ does not require heat. I use it on all my handgun loads.

I could be wrong like always but due to the OP's location I would think he would be better off with a bit softer of a lube such as BAC.
