Alloy composition question.

Just wondering if the composition of alloys discussed are measured by weight or by volume. I'm assuming volume, but with a chemistry background weight is used for accuracy in chemistry.

Mass is used for accuracy in chemistry. Generally we use weight here at this forum, but as long as we don't cast away from Earth, weight works fine.

I look forward to casting the first boolits on Mars:-)

2 pounds of tin 4 pounds of antimony and 94 pounds of lead is still 2/4/94 no matter where you weigh it.
