Yesterday thigs were kind of slow around the Thumbcocker compound. Mrs. Thumbcocker asked if I would like to go to the range while she went to the nursery and looked at plants. No problem getting me to agree to shooting. We stopped in at the convience store near the range for me to get a soda and some snacks. Mrs. Thumbcocker helped me set my stuff up on the bench and carried my soda and snack out. She then asked if I would be ok. I assured her I would. I was the only person at the range. Mrs. Thumbcocker then told me that she would be back in a while and that I should have fun.

As she drove away in the truck it hit me........... I had just been put in day care by my wife.

Ha Ha! You're smarter than most.
Most guys don't even realize they are literally being kept as pets by their wives.

Maybe it's better that way?

Man if day care had guns , ammo , snacks and a place to shoot it wouldn't have felt so much like doing hard time behind the chain link.

I was only in day care from 6 weeks old to 7 years old , and I can't remember a thing from before age 4 but it felt like an eternity at the time at lease it was co-ed and we got milk . I just couldn't appreciate nap time till years later.
