Ohhh, I see it is not only a 32 Bearkitty, but an adjustable sighted,stag-handled one at that. It looks beautiful, I look forward to seeing the range report on that!

My original Bearcat was a 22 and I must have put 5000 rounds through it, if not more. I LIKE the looks of that little gun. I wonder how you expect it to hold up to a lot of shooting? Plinker rounds might be quite pleasant to shoot.
More details please. The 'smiths name and number (or email) would be greatly appreciated.

Lloyd must be an important man. In the world of custom guns, sure didn't take long to make this happen.

It ain't going to drain your lino supply quite so bad either. I see that as a "BIG" advantage in the years to come. Everyone is going to need a smaller outfit if they really want to shoot much. Lead is going to get tougher to come by. Just pull up Freedoms on any auction site and see how many smaller calibers you see for sale.

Going to take some getting used to though, huh?

One interesting thing about the Bearcats is that when Ruger designed it, he used, not a Colt as with the Single-Six and Blackhawks, but the little 5-shot Remington Cap-and-Ball "Police" Model revolver as his pattern:

Compare this shot of my wife's .36 Police - from the front of the cylinder back, at least - with the Bearcat shot above. (the accompanying holster is actually one made for the Bearcat, and fits it perfectly.)

Floodgate increased my knowledge once again!

I had always wondered about why the Bearcat and SS were so different.
