Just what is a Lee "Bator" mold?

It is a specific design by Mr. Bator that casts 55gn 223 boolits. They are of a flat nose round point design with gas check area.

If you get one, be sure it is a 6 cavity! Using a 2 cav will take you FOREVER to cast any quantity like most of us use in 223's! With 6 at at time, you can crank out tons of them pretty fast.

If you fiddle with them a bit the 6 cavity lees are great for the price.

The Bator heavies were in .3578" and 260 and 230 gr IIRC. They had a nose similar to the 3589.
