Fo Te Fo mag update

Well I finally got my Super Red Hawk 44 mag zeroed on paper at 25 yds.

and what I discovered what that my boolits were not flying very straight.

The Lee 310RF I'm shooting with 15gr of 2400 must not be pushing them fast enough to stabilize them.

Of 6 shots, 5 showed oblong holes and two were about 8" off of the group.

I'll try upping the powder charge as I'm on the low end of the scale now, and I'll also try a lighter boolit and see.

I have a 277 gr boolit I'll try next.

When you first posted this, I thought at the time that your load was too light. That same Lee boolit shoots great in my old Redhawk.

yea, I think that's the problem for sure.

I just wanted to get the scope on paper. Now it is, time to really work up a load!
