Hello Guys:
Had a very pleasant 2 hours at range to day with my newly aquired YUGOm24/47.
I found this rifle at local gun shop, had just taken it in a gun trade .I am very, very
pleased with it, 2.5" group at 50 yrds(open sights)and my old eyes.
the metal and bore on this rifle is pristine, the stock has a few dings but they will
pop out with wet rage and hot iron. The load I used today was 8mm 175gr lee
bullet ,behind it was 16 grns of 2400.

Will a williams receiver sight fit on m48 yugo rear receiver ring without mill work?
I would like to install one on my m48 yugo
thanks for info.

The Williams reciever sight for a M98 will work fine but needs to be D&T'd on the right side of the action. If you get it done make sure the gunsmith has the back edge of the sight even with the back edge of the right side of the reciever ring so the stripper clip guide can still be used. A lot of reciever sights are justs centered on the right side of the reciever ring and then the clip guide is covered by the sight bar.

My hats off to you Larry ....... you give and give here at Boolits!

I have four of these gems sitting on the back burner and I have been contemplating a receiver sight on one or more ....... and not being able to use a charger would have frosted something sure as heck!
