Just picked up a 460 Conversion. Looks like a fun round.

Is there a better deal on brass than the ~33/100 at midway? I don't think I am ready to order 500 min from starline

Does anyhave have some boolit recommendations? Seen plenty of jacketed stuff but only a couple loads for cast. All of them so far used AA #7 which I don't have, need to pick some up.

Also does anyone know if the Comps are just screwed/loctited on? The one I got was previously cerakoted and I want to refinish. Easiest if I can remove the comp entirely and blast

Groo here
What is the conversion , 1911-XD-Glock .
If no barrel bushing, the comp is a screw on , look for the set screw, and the blue locktight.

Guess I forgot that piece of info... Its a 1911 conversion.

Looked at it closely and the cerakote is perfectly on only the comp, so either someone did one heck of a tape job or more likely it was removed before. Need to find a good way to hold the barrel and I will try unscrewing after checking for a set screw.
