That's a lot of lead.

You can pick a lot of things but you can not pick your family.

Nice "haul"! Yep family, what you gonna do? Never easy to deal with a problem in the family. Hopefully that family member has turned around and is heading in the right direction.

Seems like 46,666 - 150 grain boolits. Hopefully things eventually work out between you and the family member.
Seems like we all have at least one that thinks there entitled to more than their fair share.

Are you saying that you didn't have to use your AK today?

Disagree vehemently. Blood doesn't mean family. Where and why people started laboring under such a ridiculous delusion is beyond me. I have lots of living blood relatives that are no more a part of my family than some cannibal in the Congo. In fact I'm not blood related to anyone in my family. All by choice.

Awsome some score on the lead btw. I would LOVE to have the funds to get rid of all these wheel weights and other 'unknowns' and have nothing but certified materials.

Your life, your family, YOUR decision but I would have had her in a jail cell the FIRST time. ...but I might make a suggestion. You've spent over $1300 on alloy, what's another $20 for the best padlock home depot has to offer?

1,000 lbs of certified alloy? Sounds like you messed around and got a triple double!

True, all true....I sure don't have mercy for a thief though. But, as you say, it's you and all you.

Huh! Seems to me that stealing a thousand pounds of lead is more work than actually working.

The alloy will cast very well. It is one of my favorite mixes.

Could you share where you got it from. I am leaning heavily towards doing that rather than having to beg/plead/grovel at tireshops and construction sites.

Thanks, Steven

PA is not my neck of the woods so the source won't do me much good, shipping lead is what gets you. If you have a commercial address that can cut the price a lot. Common carriers charge more for residential delivery. You can sometimes arrange for customer pickup at the common carriers dock facility. That is what I did with a load of fencing, saved me a good bit on having it brought to a residential address.

BTW- I do not think of it as begging, pleading, or groveling. I think of it as a network of useful social contacts ;-)

Make the family member pay for it! If they can't pay make um work it off. Don't just let them get away with it!

Oh yeah the stash is GREAT!
