k-38 model 14 barrel

i am in need of a barrel for a model 14 due to a bulge caused by a squib load and stuck bullet-didn't blow out anything but-not good-any ideas on where to find one??

You didn't specify the length but there are barrels for K frames on eBay and Gunbroker.

Did you buy the Model 14 new?. If you did contact S&W and see what they say. I had a 14-6 that developed a similar problem and S&W wanted see it. They sent a pre-paid Fed EX label and after looking it over decided that they could not make it right. Sent me a new 686-6 in exchange no charge.

If you bought it used then all bets are off...........Terry

You might need a barrel and a gunsmith unless you have a lot of tools and knowledge.
