New guy here, both to the forum and to breech seating. I'd appreciate any advice anyone might offer on where to start looking for molds for breech seat bullets. The first rifle I'll work with is a new Wyoming Armory 32-40 hiwall 1-16 twist. Anyone here have experience with Accurate Molds in Salt Lake City? Looks like they offer a few designs for tapered bullets.

Thanks very much

Like you surmise, I would only get tapered designs, when cast you can seat them with a plugged case. If Accurate make tapered, go for it otherwise you could Hoch molds as sold by CPA Corp.

The custom mould makers will probably want a chamber cast including a portion of rifled bore..I know Dave Farmer at Hoch did when I had him make a couple of B.S. moulds for a Winchester High-Wall .38-55.

Heard a lot of really good things about Accurate, Been looking for a stop ring design and might go with them.

Take a look at this post ... http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?264844-Lyman-319289-what-for&p=3080919&viewfull=1#post3080919 I shoot the 319289 and it is a very accurate round in my Stevens 44 1/2 seated with 1/8th of the base exposed out to 200yds and can be pushed to 300yds

Accurate does not make it but could be duplicated. As for the Hoch 200gr tapered molds (have 3 Hochs), call CPA Rifles , Phone: 1 (570) 828-1669. They have them in stock except for the 220-205
