If you are in the middle Atlantic states you may find this interesting. This Friday and Saturday May 8 and 9 is the Spring Steam-Up and Woodworking show at Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association at the show grounds in Kinzer PA. Steam engines, Trains to ride, Tractors, Steam traction engines, Antique gas engines, Blacksmithing, Overhead lineshaft machine shop, Antique automobiles, Model engines, Woodworking and more....

If you can’t make it pass this along to someone who can.

I can vouch for Blacksmith here. Like Ed Sullivan used to say, "this is a really big show"! This show brings America's past to life. Been there many times and always enjoy it. Nice Folks too. Located on Rt 30 east of Lancaster, in Amish country. Big flee market, with lots of Amish crafts. A great way to show your kids what life was like before cell phones & computers.

The big flea Market is at the "Threasherman's Reunion" in August but there will be plenty to see at the Steam Up.

Wish I was close enough to go. Looks awesome. Partly because I do blacksmithing and woodworking both. :D

For the big show in August they draw people from all over the country and get some foreign visitors also. But most areas have shows that are similar even if not as big. You just need to search them out.

Here are a few places to start looking:
