Broken windows and chimneys up there. One of my aunts lives about ten miles from the epicenter, she said it was unmistakable.

surprised they don't have more in that area.
the weight from the ice caps compressed the earth pretty good and it's still rebounding from that.

Lived in Michigan until 1981. Seem to recall another small scale quake many years ago. Maybe it is just "The mitten" trying to break away from the rest of the States to create an island!
It is said that you are no farther than 7 miles from water no matter where you are standing. I hit running water with a post hole digger one time. Had a hard time getting that post solid.

Hang tight folks. Nothing to be recommended about earthquakes (he said after 14000).

Around the same time Saturday as the 3.8 in southern Michigan, there was supposedly a 3.5 in northern Mississippi, and one in West Virginia. Early Sunday, there was about a 3.5 in the L.A. California area, as well as one in Nevada, and Texas too.

We felt a bit of tremor here in Northern Indiana, kinda like a huge truck going by.

Coffee cup fell off of a shelf but other than that .....
Nothing, roads look the same as they always do this time of year.
