Loaded some 75 grain wadcutter I got a group buy mold for years ago, over the littlest dipper in the Lee set. !.7 grains of Bullseye. What a nice 50 foot load.
She put 6 into an inch on the first cylinders of them.

Anyone else shoot the tiny little boolits?

The 358-101 was what my daughters learned to shoot with when they out grew 22's. 2.0 grains of Bullseye made a great trainer for 2 young girls. I suspect my grand daughter will grow into it as well.

Years ago I shot the 60 grain wadcutters 2 and 3 at a time over about 5 grains green dot. all kinds of fun to be had. a nice close range self defense load, too.

Yes they are very fun to shoot, after sticking a few when going below 2.0 gr (1.5 -1.7 gr range) I now load with at least 2 gr of Reddot or equiv. fast burning powder.

I shot a these into wet phone books (2) WC's over 5.0 gr Power pistol; they made huge entrance wounds and penetrated the same as a 158 gr FN did at the same velocity.

Not as small as what you're shooting but I like the LEE 105 SWC out of my 357's.

I got started casting in 1973 when I bought a Lyman smelter and group of 12-13 molds, all for one money. The seller had decided to start swaging and got out of casting. Among these molds was a Lyman 358101 (4 cavity) that I still own. Used it for years and had much fun stuffing two of these pills in one case over a powder charge appropriate for a 150 grain boolit. The downside is that this mold is painfully slow in getting up to working temperature. Also I needed tweezers to chase these boolits through a sizer. Over a very light load of BE these loads have no recoil and hold their grouping ability our to 50 feet with regularity. This is one fun boolit!

This is one fun boolit! I have that same problem with the Lee 105 SWC's and the 120TC's for my 357's and 9mm, I think I'm going to try some JPW tumble lubed on them. I hope it works (like I've read it does) as my Hi Power eats those 120's for breakfast and I dislike sizing them.
